By downloading, installing, or using the JP TRAVEL mobile application ("App"), developed by Masaya Kobayashi, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

3. User Content

Learning Progress: Your study history and favorites
3.2 Content Ownership
You retain all ownership rights to your user-generated content. However:
All content is stored locally on your device only
We do not access, collect, or store your content on our servers
You are responsible for backing up your content
Deleting the App will permanently erase all your content
3.3 Content Responsibility
You are solely responsible for your content. You agree not to create or store content that:
Is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, or hateful
Violates intellectual property rights
Contains viruses or malicious code
Violates any applicable laws or regulations
Note: While your content is private (stored only on your device), you should still comply with these guidelines.
4. Intellectual Property
4.1 Our Content
The App and its original content (excluding your user-generated content) are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. This includes:
Pre-loaded Japanese phrases and translations
App design, layout, and user interface
Audio pronunciations
Graphics, icons, and visual elements
Source code and algorithms
4.2 Third-Party Content
The App may include content licensed from third parties:
Google AdMob: Advertisement content
Apple: Payment processing and App Store services
These third parties retain all rights to their content.
5. Premium Features and Payments
5.1 Free Version
The App is free to download and use with all features included. The free version displays advertisements powered by Google AdMob.
5.2 Premium Version
You may purchase a one-time premium upgrade for $4.99 USD (price may vary by region) to:
Remove all advertisements permanently
Support continued app development
5.3 Payment Terms
Payments are processed by Apple through In-App Purchase (IAP)
All sales are final - no refunds unless required by law
Prices include applicable taxes
Premium status is tied to your Apple ID
Restore purchases by tapping "Restore Purchases" in Settings
5.4 Refund Policy
Per Apple's policy, all sales are final. However, you may request a refund from Apple within 90 days:

Non-infringement

7.3 Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:
We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the premium version ($4.99 USD)
We are not responsible for miscommunications or issues arising from language use
We are not liable for data loss (always back up your device)
7.4 Not Professional Advice
The App does not provide:

8. Availability and Changes

We strive to maintain the App, but we reserve the right to:

Note: Since all data is local, we cannot remotely disable your access. However, we may prevent future updates or support.
11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Japan, without regard to conflict of law principles.
11.2 Dispute Resolution
Any disputes arising from these Terms or the App shall be resolved through:
